Colonel John Wheeler Middle School

The Colonel Wheeler Bulldogs lost their road match up against Liberty Middle School 18 - 12. On offense Gio Sherill did his best to gain yards with his arm and his legs. He was able to find Eli Kelley for a long touchdown pass in the second quarter. Luca Fantin was the standout on defense. Playing an unfamiliar position, he forced two turnovers at a crucial point in the game. He returned an interception for a touchdown and was able to punch the ball out of the Liberty running back’s grasp for a fumble.
