The 7th grade volleyball team headed to Liberty on Wednesday night to kick off the Lake-Porter Conference tournament. In our first match, the Bulldogs took care of business with a clean sweep of Willowcreek. 25-13, 25-20. They advanced to play Thursday night On Thursday, the 7th grade team headed back to Liberty to take on the host school in our first match of the night. Liberty was ready to play and gave us a good run but ultimately, the Bulldogs pulled ahead in game 2 and won the match in 2. 25-20, 25-12. The semifinal win sent them into the championship to face a tough Benjamin Franklin team. The Lady Bulldogs got off to a slow start and dropped set 1, 16-25. Instead of putting their heads down, they dug deep and came to life! They fought hard in set 2 and came away with a 25-22 win! The team headed into the third set with momentum but BF quickly jumped ahead to a 7-2 lead. Again, the lady Bulldogs wouldn’t quit! Some great serving and team play brought the score even! They dropped a couple more points but never lost sight of the end goal! They pulled ahead 14-13 and with some great resolve, finished the match with a 15-13 win! Your 2025 Conference Champions! They finished the season with an impressive 21-1 record! Thanks for a great season players and parents! You all are awesome!
