Colonel John Wheeler Middle School

The Colonel Wheeler “A” football team won a physical game against Ben Franklin 15 - 8. Offensive linemen Issac Aburto, Oliver Miksis, Evan Solis, Jaxson Sertic, Luke Abbatemarco, and Mason Reinke worked hard to pave a path in the run game and protect the quarterback in the pass game. On defense Anthony Nyiri secured his second interception of the season while Roman Rizo made big plays on the back end to shut down the Ben Franklin passing attack. The Bulldogs are undefeated on the season and will play Taft for the conference championship next Wednesday at Crown Point High School.
