Colonel John Wheeler Middle School

The Col. Wheeler “B” Football Team won an exciting game last night by defeating the Thomas Jefferson Vikings by the score of 38-6. Quarterbacks Henry Jansma and Tommy Redden threw touchdown passes to wide receivers Finn O’Shea and Evan Fistrovich. Running back Fernando Mendes had an exciting game while scoring three touchdowns of 75, 17, and 30 yards. Joey Wysocki capped off the night with a 30-yard touchdown run of his own in the final minutes. On defense, Travon Pack had a big night with multiple tackles in the Viking backfield. The Bulldogs are currently 1-1 on the year and will take on the Willowcreek Indians next Tuesday night at home. Game time is set for 5 pm.
